Summary; Why I have chosen Imam Aga Khan IV as my guidace in Islam? Because I am so inspired by his work for humanity. I am so excited and happy, he is a reformer to modernize the old style of Islam and he is a more perfect Imam among other Imams who follow the sunnah professionally in context of our time according to the progress and development of science and technology in 21th Century. He is busy leader to improve the better life of people, with the provision of services to the community in education, health, social welfare, housing, economic welfare, cultural and women’s activities, youth and sports development around the world. Amazing Imam.
Conversely other Imam of Sects of Islam are busy with political and spiritual things. They ignore of the welfare of people. As result of that create poverty and conflict as we see in most Islamic countries. Most fundamentalist sunni ( Saudi Arabia ) and Syiah (Iran) strongly reject to reform Islamic teaching forever. Both want to implement the old style of Islam.
For example;
The law of Punishment; Flogging, beheading, imputation, at front of public.
The law of slavery; Women can be slave.
The law of Women's dressing; Burqa, Niqab and Hijab.
The law of inheritance; Girls receive 1/2 of boys.
The law of Usury; Forbid all the conventional Bank
The law of Marriage; Polygamy.
The law of Government system; Syariah State, or Islamic state. Caliphate state, like;  Saudi, Iran, ISIS etc.

There are many rules from Hadith; Women are forbidden : to travel without a male, shack hand with man, singing at TV or public, drive car, be leader. Muslim who perform Pilgrim
Hajji pray, kiss and cry at STONE Kaaba & Asward like
Jahilliyah Pegan worshiped stones before Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came to Mecca.
If Muslim still follow the old style of Islam, Muslim cannot be a role model for other non Islam. Whereas Allah and Prophet want Muslim is a role model for non Islam.

My question to you all;
Which one you will choose between; The Old style of Islam or The Modern Style of Islam?

May Allah guide Muslim to the right Path of Islam. Amiin.

So the main goal of Islamic teaching is to make People live better and can live in Peace, Happiness and welfare, or Prosperity.
If there is sect of Islam cannot make people life better and cannot live in Peace, happiness and Prosperity, there is something wrong with the teaching, need to correct it.
What I see the teaching of Islamili Shia has a great successful achievement indeed, compare to other sect of Islam.

As we know that there are many sects of Islam (73 sects), from Orthodox, Extremist to Liberal. From suni to Shiah. From Wahhabi- Salafi to Sufi. The Sect of Shiah are more than 12 groups, The Sects of Suni are many groups.

There are 2 big groups of Muslim in the world ( Suni and Shiah). Each of sect of Islam claim that his group is the true Islam.

From my view, only Allah has the right to judge all sects of Islam.

We have to be honest and admit that the current Islamic teaching or interpretation by the extremist intolerant clerics is not creating a peace, happiness and prosperity,  but conversely create conflict, violent, warfare, and poverty as we see in Arab countries where Islam was born.
Million Muslim have been suffered, fled and killed since 9/11-2001. There is no sign to end soon, very sad indeed, Nauzubillah.
I believe that there is something wrong with Islamic teaching.

Recently I found the sect of Ismaili shiah video and I was so inspired by its teaching that differ to what I perform Salat. It is very interesting to learn Ismaili faith in Islam in depth. There is a
excellent article to read below. Hopefully you will be inspired by Ismsili shiah sect has done to people around the world. Very amazing there are many projects for creating better life of people.

To achieve these goals , the Imam has established, within the framework of the Constitution, National, Regional and Local Councils responsible for overall social governance; and Central Institutions for the provision of services to the community in education, health, social welfare, housing, economic welfare, cultural and women’s activities, youth and sports development.

The main key Ismaili Shia group has been successful because Ismaili shiah group dare to reform Islamic teaching, conversely other Sects of Muslim want to maintain the old interpretation of Islam, on other word they reject to modernize the interpretation of Islam. That is why we can see the progress, development and better life of Islamili community compare other sect of Muslim who reject to reform..

May Allah guide us all to the truth of Islam. Amen.

Shariah law at 15 Centuries ago should be
updated / Reformed.
God say, Yes.
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِہِمۡ‌ۗ

Allah will not Change the Condition if You do not Change it
by Yourself. Q.13;11.
Mr. Erdogan, President Turkey say;
"Islam is needed an update and accordingly updated. You
can't apply the practices applied 15 centuries ago today. Islam changes and adapts to the condition of different ages. This is the beauty of Islam".

For example; How to pray and fast in Arctic, if the law of fasting cannot be adjusted?
Al Quran say; The fasting start from the sun rise to the sun set.
The piety of some is telling them to make the fast 22 hours, may be they can take it, but they are making Islam impractical for many others. What would their opinion be when the fast comes around in winter and then there is a two hour fast? Would that be a joke?

So in order Muslim who live in Arctic can perform fasting, the law have to be adjusted or changed it.

It is time for the progressive scholars to lead the way and lay out a clear alternative for all the Muslims
Islam is a Religion of Progressive.

Islam is a religion of flexibility and it makes Islam beauty
He has chosen you and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion of Islam. Q. 22;78. (Only your orthodox clerics impose difficulties on you in religion of Islam.)

The true prayer or Shalat according to Al Quran only 3 times a day.

The Qur’ān only mentions three specific prayer times:

And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the
approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember. (11:114)
The five prayer times are not explicitly mentioned in the Holy Qur’ān and are derived via interpretation.
The prayer-form that most Muslims use today – called Namaz or Salah – was not taught by the Prophet Muhammad himself; it was actually derived and interpreted by the Sunni jurists during the first 200 years after the Prophet and validated by the Sunni legal tool of ijma or “consensus of the scholars.”Whatever prayer-form the Prophet Muhammad actually taught and used is not known today and scholars can only find a few minute details about it from the Qur’an. For example, historians know that the Prophet’s prayer-form included recitation of some Qur’an verses and it included
bowing and prostrating. The Qur’an also states that the Pagan Arabs before Prophet Muhammad already prayed in the same way as Prophet Muhammad’s community, except that the Prophet did some of the same actions in a different order – this is reported in the earliest Tafsir of Muqatil b. Sulayman on Qur’an 96:19 which talks about how the Pagans used to perform sujud, qiyam and ruku’ in a different sequence from the Prophet Muhammad. All of this is based on historical analysis using the Quran as a historical document.
The procedures of what is today called Namaz or Salah as practiced by most Sunni Muslims are the result of the Sunni Jurists and Ulama interpreting the Qur’an and Sunni Hadith corpus. Even then, a large number of Muslims such as certain Sufi groups in South Asia, the esoteric Shia groups like the Ahl-i Haqq and Alawis and Alevis in the Middle East, and
other Muslim groups do not practice the Namaz as the mandatory prayer-form. The Ismaili Muslims follow a living Imam in direct lineal descent from Prophet Muhammad and Imam ‘Ali b. Abi Talib because the Ismaili Imam is the rightful bearer of the authority of Prophet Muhammad, so it matters little how the rest of the Muslim Ummah prays; nor does it matter precisely how the Prophet Muhammad and his Community prayed. The Ismaili Imam prescribes and authorizes the best and most correct method of prayer in every time-period of history.
This model of continuous Divine Guidance reinterpreted in every time is the same model of Divine Guidance used by Prophet Muhammad when he recited the Qur’an to the Community and gave guidance. The Prophetic-Qur’anic Guidance model is a model of CONTINUOUS, PROGRESSIVE, and RESPONSIVE guidance – that means, whatever the situation of the early Community, both the Qur’anic guidance recited by the Prophet and the Prophet’s own guidance on all matters including ritual practices would CHANGE and UPDATE and EVOLVE as new situations arose and circumstances changed – and this is an undeniable historical fact proven from the Qur’an itself:
Allah will not Change the Condition if You do not Change it
by Yourself. Q.13;11.

The number of prayers changed for 2 times in Makkah to 3 times in Madinah;
The rules on drinking alcohol changed at least 3-4 times;
The guidance for warfare changed several times as the circumstances changed;
The practices of fasting – how to fast and when to fast – changed at least 2-3 times.
The Quran and Prophet were changing and updating the
Divine Guidance to the Community in an ongoing manner as times and circumstances changed – and all this happened only over 23 years. The Prophet Muhammad KNEW that Divine Guidance would have to continue after his death – that is why he said that the Kitab of God (meaning Divine Guidance) and his Ahl al-Bayt would never separate from one another and told the Community to follow Imam Ali as the Mawla (Master) because the Imams continue giving Divine Guidance to the Community that is also CONTINUOUS, PROGRESSIVE, and RESPONSIVE. The Qur’an even says that the Imams in the periods before Prophet Muhammad had the Divine authority to establish the form of prayer for the Believers:
And We made them Imams guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, to establish the prayer, and giving of zakah; and they were worshipers of Us - Qur’an 21:73.
“By the institution of the Ulu'l-Amr - who can be interpreted as Imam and Caliph - and by placing obedience to the ulu'l-Amr immediately after that to God and Prophet, he ensured that the Faith would ever remain living, extending, developing with science, knowledge, art, and industry... If, rightly, the Muslims have kept till now to the forms of prayer and fasting at the time of the Prophet, it should not be forgotten that it is not the forms of prayer and fasting that have been commanded, but the facts, and we are entitled to adjust the forms to the facts of life as circumstances changed. It is the same Prophet who advises his followers ever to remain Ibnu’l-Waqt (i.e. children of the time and period in which they were on earth), and it must be the natural ambition of every Muslim to practice and represent his Faith according to the standard of the Waqt or space-time.”
 – Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah Aga Khan III,
(Foreword to Muhammad: A Mercy To all the Nations by Al-Hajji Qassim Jairazbhoy, Read Here)
Today Mawlana Hazar Imam had made the prayer-form of Dua and not Namaz/Salah to be the obligatory prayer-form for Ismaili Muslims, because this is the Divine Guidance that has been ordained for the Believers in the present day and age.

It is true that in the past, the Ismailis or some Ismailis prayed the Namaz as the main prayer but in the era of Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah, all of this was changed and the Jamats of Syria, Iran, and Central Asia all were commanded to recite the Ismaili Du'a as the mandatory prayer-form three times per day.

Salat-Sheikh Jehad Ismail.

A wise man always want to  learn a new thing,  but a foolish always hate to learn and reject a new thing..Proverb Daud.
May Allah guide us all to the truth of Islamic teaching. Ameen.

Why Don't Ismailis Perform the Hajj Pilgrimage to Mecca?

The hajj as interpreted by Sunni Muslims is made to the physical Ka‘bah in Makkah, which is revered as the House of God. However, there are three major Qur’ānic facts about the establishment of the physical Ka‘bah as the House of God according to the Qur’an:
  • The Ka‘bah was purified by Abraham and Isma‘il (2:125-128) and again by Prophet Muhammad and ‘Ali; therefore, the purity, sanctity and holiness of the Ka‘bah depends upon the purity, sanctity, and holiness of the Prophet Abraham, Prophet Muhammad and the Imams of their progeny, who are the People of the House (ahl al-bayt – declared to be purified by God in Qur’ān 33:33).
  • If the Ka‘bah is called Bayt Allah (House of God) in the Qur’an, then the Family of Muhammad are called Ahl al-Bayt (People of the House).
  • The Prophet or Imam are those who “raise up” the physical House of God, by God’s permission (iḍn Allāh) as stated in 2:125-128 and 24:36.
  • The original Ḥajj, in its Qur’ānic origins, is a pilgrimage to both the physical Ka‘bah and the Prophet of the time and his family. The Qur’an says to Abraham about the original hajj that “And proclaim the ḥajj among mankind: they will come to you (yatūka) on foot” (Qur’an 22:27).
In addition to the Ka‘bah, the exoteric (zahiri) House of God, there is also exists an esoteric (bāṭinī) House of God (Bayt Allāh). According to the Qur’ān, everything in the physical world and the realm of sharī‘ah is an exoteric symbol for a spiritual counterpart or symbolic meaning (mamthūl) in the spiritual world of the ṭarīqah. This is the meaning of the “pairs” that God has created out of all things:
 And of all things We have created in pairs, so that you may reflect.
– Holy Qur’ān 51:49
Thus, the physical Ka‘bah has an esoteric (bāṭinī) counterpart without which it possesses no true meaning and for whose sake the Ka‘bah itself is established. The physical Ka‘bah, the physical House of God, is not an immutable structure; it has been demolished, damaged and rebuilt several times throughout history. The physical Ka‘bah is not inherently pure; it has been the site of idol worship for generations and only regained its purity due to the intervention of a Prophet or Imam. Thus, the Ka‘bah cannot be the House of God in the fullest sense because it is inanimate and suffers from both decay and corruption. The Prophet Muhammad, according to several Sunni hadiths, admitted that the physical Ka‘bah is not even built on the original pattern and foundations of Abraham and that he would have demolished and rebuilt it had he not feared the reaction of the Quraysh who were still attached to the customs of jahilliyyah:
 Narrated by ‘A’isha: God’s Messenger said to me, “Were your people not close to the pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance, I would have demolished the Ka‘bah and would have rebuilt it on its original foundations laid by Abraham, and I would have built a back door (too).”
– Sahih Bukhari, Chapter 26, Hadith No. 655
The true House of God must be a House which is living, speaking, intellectual and conscious whose essence remains free from decay and impurity. Unlike the realm of ẓāhir which includes corruptible inanimate objects, the realm of bāṭin consists of living realities possessing the fullness of intellect and soul.
Since the very status and existence of the physical House of God is derived from, connected to, and dependent upon the Prophet and Imam, it follows that the Imam of the Time is the esoteric House of God and the Living Ka‘bah. The Imam himself is the inner meaning (bāṭin; ta’wīl) of the physical orẓāhirīKa‘bah. In this sense, the Shi’i Imams have declared:
 "We are the Ka‘bah of God ( ka‘batullāh), Exalted is He, and we are the Qiblah of God ( qiblatullāh). We are the Sacred Sanctuary of God (ḥarāmullah)”
– Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq, ( Bihār al-Anwār, 24:211/1, in Muhammad Ali Sabzvari, Tuhfa Yi-‘Abbasi: The Golden Chain of Sufism in Shi‘ite Islam, 68)
The Sufis of Sunni Islam, including Hazrat Jalal al-Din Rumi, professed the very same teaching that the Prophet or Imam of the Time is the living House of God and the spiritual Ka‘bah. Rumi himself writes that the physical Ka‘bah in Makkah is but a branch of the spiritual Ka‘bah – the Prophet and the Friends of God.
 "The meaning of the Ka‘bah is the heart of the Prophets and the Friends of God (awliyā’) and the dwelling place of God’s revelation. The [physical] Ka‘bah is a branch of that. If it were not for the heart [of the Prophets and Friends of God] what use would the Ka‘bah be? The Prophets and Friends of God who have totally abandoned their own desires and are following the desire of God. So whatever He commands, they do it."
– Hazrat Jalal al-Din Rumi, (Fihi Ma Fihi, in Arthur F. Buehler, Sufi Heirs of the Prophet: The Indian Naqshbandiyya and the Rise of the Mediating Sufi Shaykh, 43)
The proofs and arguments for the Imam of the Time as the spiritual Ka‘bah and the living House of God are numerous. Firstly, the Qur’ān mentions in the famous ayat al-nūr that the Lamp of God’s Light (nūr) is found: “in Houses (buyūt) which God has ordered to be exalted and that His name is remembered therein; exalting Him in the morning and the evening.” (Holy Qur’ān 24:36). The Imam of the Time is the locus of manifestation (mazhar) of the Light of God and therefore the “Houses” (buyūt) that contain the Light mentioned in this verse refer to the Imams, not to physical houses. This is because only the souls of the Prophets and Imams are pure like the glass of the lamp described in ayat al-nūr and this is why the Prophet himself is called both Light (5:15) and a light-emanating lamp elsewhere in the Qur’ān (33:47). The Imam of the time is the true House of God because the recognition (ma‘rifah) of God is attained through him:
 Imam al-Husayn called out to his companions: “God – may His Mention be glorified – did not create the servants except to know Him, and by knowing Him to worship him, and by worshipping Him to be satisfied only by His worship, and to never find satisfaction in worshipping other than Him.” And a man said to him: “O Son of the Prophet, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you. What is this Recognition (ma‘rifah) of God?” The Imam said: “The recognition (ma‘rifah) every people have of the Imam of their Time to whom obedience is due.”
