بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشۡرَحۡ لِى صَدۡرِى (٢٥) وَيَسِّرۡ لِىٓ أَمۡرِى (٢٦) وَٱحۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَةً۬ مِّن لِّسَانِى (٢٧) يَفۡقَهُواْ قَوۡلِى

(Moses) said: "O my Lord! Expand me my breast;" (25) "Ease my task for me; (26) "And remove the impediment from my speech. (27) "So they may understand what I say:Q.20:20-28.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

الٓر‌ۚ ڪِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ لِتُخۡرِجَ ٱلنَّاس مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٲطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ (١)ٱ

Alif Lam Ra. A Book which We have revealed unto thee in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light― by the leave of their Lord― to the Way of (Him) Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise! Q.14:1.

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً۬ وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً۬ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ (٢٠١)

And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world( Heaven)  and good in the Hereafter (Heaven) and save us from the torment of the fire!" Q.2:201.

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَڪَانُواْ يَتَّقُونَ (٦٣) لَهُمُ ٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ فِى ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ‌ۚ لَا تَبۡدِيلَ لِڪَلِمَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ ذَٲلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ (٦٤)

Those who believed and used to fear Allâh much(63) For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (Heaven), and in the Hereafter (Heaven). No change can there be in the Words of Allâh, this is indeed the supreme success. Q.10:63-64.

Honesty-truthfulness.

Prophet Muhammad saw was named "Al Amin", he was known a honest man in Arab.

O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. QS 33;(70).

O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true/honest (in word and deed). Q.9:(119).Q.83:(1-6).

Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell. Q.83:(16)

This golden wisdom is found in Christianity faith.

Whoever walks in integrity ( truth,honesty ) walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths ( lie, not honest )

will be found out.
Honesty or truthfulness is the most important in life. If the honest is lost, life will be difficult, no one trust on you any more. Most Islamic clerics are not honest, they hide the truth of God. That is why God has been punishing Muslim around the world with conflict and kill each other.  

Can we change God’s law or Syariah laws. God say, Yes.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِہِمۡ‌ۗ

Allah will not Change the Condition if You do not Change it by Yourself. Q.13;11.

We have to be Honest that the interpretation of Islam for centuries by The extremist Clerics ( Wahhabi and Syah ) has caused conflict, warfare, poverty, and the immense suffering of Muslim in Islamic countries from Asia to Middle East.

So Progressive Muslim have to change and reform the extremist Clerics interpretation of Islam to the Modern interpretation in 21th Century. Islam can be a religion of peace, harmony, mercy and beautiful again.

Shariah law at 15 Centuries ago should be updated / Reformed.

Mr. Erdogan, President Turkey say;

"Islam is needed an update and accordingly updated. You can't apply the practices applied 15 centuries ago today. Islam changes and adapts to the condition of different ages. This is the beauty of Islam".

Islam is a Religion of Progressive.

How did Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) spread Islamic teaching to people?

Often we hear from Extremist scholars that we have to force people to believe in Islam.Because Islam is a true teaching from Allah.

What we have been seeing how the fanatic clerics spread Islam to other by imposing their beliefs through the rule of government, like; ISIS, Taliban, Al Qaaida, Jihadith, etc. Those who does not follows their beliefs will be accused infidel, then discriminated, forbidden, punished and even they kill them such as the blasphemy, heresy, apostasy, gay lesbian, infidel ( 11/9 2001 ) with ruthlessly.

So, the fruit of decades of hate teaching, judging, accusing, imposing their belief to others is coming to the fruition, bring the nightmare civil war like in Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Yemen, Nigeria, Sudan etc. Millions Muslim have been suffering, homeless and thousands innocent people,children,women, their brothers, mother and their father died. The Arab scene is now a disgrace. Whereas Islam and prophet was born in Arab country.  Nauzubillah.

We have to admit that the extremist scholar’s interpretation created violence, discrimination, oppression, injustice, and poverty.

We, educated Muslim who live in 21st century, have to correct or to reform the extremist’s interpretation of Islam, if we want to show and prove that Islam is Religion of Peace, love, compassion, tolerance, forgiveness, equality, justice for all, prosperity, and bring mercy to all mankind QS 21;107.

So,those who follow Islam correctly, professionally and completely will become; a good Muslim, peaceful Muslim, lovely Muslim, treat all people justly, rich Muslim, generous Muslim, respectful Muslim, and live in wealth.

How did prophet Muhammad (saw) spread Islam 1400 year ago? Prophet

Muhammad said through Al Quran as follow;

1. Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel. And argue with them in the best of manners. Surely, your Lord knows best the one who deviates from His way, and He knows best the ones who are on the right path. QS 4;125.
2. Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel. And argue with them in the best of manners. Surely, your Lord knows best the one who deviates from His way, and He knows best the ones who are on the right path. (125) QS.16:125.
3. It is part of the Mercy of Allah that thou dost deal gently with them. Wert thou severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about thee: so pass over (their faults), and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs  wordly). Then, when thou hast taken a decision, put thy trust in Allah. For Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).QS 3:159.
4. You are the best of peoples ever raised up for humankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf  and forbid and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqûn . (110)QS 3:110
5. If they still turn away, then, your responsibility is only to convey the message clearly. QS 16;82
6. So remind them (O Muhammad (SAW)) — you are only a one who reminds. You are not a dictator over them —  Save the one who turns away and disbelieves. Then Allâh will punish him with the greatest punishment. Verily, to Us will be their return;  Then verily, for Us will be their reckoning. QS 88;21-26.
7. Then, if they turn away, your duty (O Muhammad SAW) is only to convey (the Message) in a clear way. (82)QS 16;82

8. Your duty is only to convey (the Message) and on Us is the reckoning. QS 13 ;(40)
9. There is no compulsion in Faith. The correct way has become distinct from the erroneous. Now, whoever rejects the and believes in Allah has a firm grasp on the strongest ring that never breaks. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. QS 2;256.
10. “The truth is from your Lord. Now, whoever so wills may believe and whoever so wills may deny.”QS 18:29.
11. Had your Lord willed, all those on earth would have believed altogether. Would you, then, compel people, so that they become believers?QS 10:(99)
12. Whoever obeys the Messenger obeys Allah, and whoever turns away, then, We did not send you to stand guard over them. QS 4:(80)
13. etc.

MY CONCLUSION;

Did Prophet Muhammad (puh) spread Islam with sword or peace? No

1. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) spread Islam to people with wisdom, peace, love, compassion, and never use force or impose to others.
2. Islam is not obligatory, but free to choose, free to join and free to leave.
3. Islamic laws can not be used for Government’s law, to impose Islamic laws to others.
4. Islam is real religion of peace, religion of love, tolerance, freedom to join and to leave, religion of blessing for all humankind QS 21;107.

Prophet Muhammad saw was a role of model for mankind, he had the excellent character or moral as role of Model for mankind as following;

Honesty-truthfulness.
Prophet Muhammad saw was named "Al Amin", he was known a honest man in Arab.

O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. QS 33;(70). Those who always tell the truth will lead to the Heaven.. 

O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true/honest (in word and deed). Q.9:(119).

Woe to those that deal in fraud― (1) Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure. (2) But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. (3) Do they not think that they will be called to account?― (4) On a Mighty, Day, (5) A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? (6) Nay! Surely the Record of the Wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin (7) And what will explain to thee what Sijjin is? (8) (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed. (9) Woe, that Day, to those that deny―Q.83:(1-10).

This golden wisdom is found in Christianity faith.

You never succeed if you hide your sins.Confess them and give them up, then God will show you the mercy to you.Proverb.28;13

Be honest you will be save, but if you dishonest you will suddenly fall.Proverb 28

Honesty or truthfulness is the most important in life. If the honest is lost, life will be difficult, no one trust on you any more. Most Islamic clerics are not honest, they hide the truth of God. That is why God has been punishing Muslim around the world with conflict and kill each other.  

وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجۡرًا غَيۡرَ مَمۡنُونٍ۬ (٣) وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ۬ (٤)

1.And you will have definitely a reward that will never end, and you are surely on an excellent standard of character Q.68;3-4.

وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡشُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ هَوۡنً۬ا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلۡجَـٰهِلُونَ قَالُواْ سَلَـٰمً۬ا

2. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of humility;

The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; QS 25:(63).

3. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion to protect the right of minority, or Human Right.

And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help.QS 4:75.

4. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of humanity.

Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the way-farer (ye meet) and what your right hands possess: for Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious.(QS.4:36).

God commands Muslims to be affectionate, kind, and just in their practice of tolerance with Non-Muslims. They should have good relations with non-Muslims as long as they are in peace with them. God says: “God forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for your faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: For God love those who are just. (QS.60:8).

And lower your wing to the Believers who follow them.QS.26:215.

5. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of treating all people in just and love regardless of religion, race, nationality and gender. Another word Justice for all people.

It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies: for Allah has power (over all things); and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (7) Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. Q.60:7-9.

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to Piety: and fear Allah For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.QS 5:8.

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allâh, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allâh is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allâh is Ever Well¬Acquainted with what you do.[] Q.4:(135)

6.Prophet Muhammad saw never slander or mock people.

And Al-Fitnah (sander ) is worse than killing Q.2:191.

Woe unto every slandering traducer, (1) Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. (2) He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. (3) Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. (4) Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! (5) (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, (6) Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). (7) Lo! it is closed in on them (8) In outstretched columns. (9). (QS 104; 1-9).

Allah loveth not the utterance of harsh speech save by one who hath been wronged. Allah is ever Hearer, Knower. QS.4:148.

7. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of not be arrogant.

For Allah love not the arrogant, the vainglorious;―Verily, Allâh does not like such as are proud and boastful; (36).QS 4:36.

8. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of  forgiveness.

And by the Mercy of Allâh, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh¬hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allâh's) Forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allâh, certainly, Allâh loves those who put their trust (in Him).

Q 3: (159).

9. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of generosity.

The parable of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn: it groweth seven ears, and each ear hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth; and Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things. QS.2:261).

If ye disclose (acts of) charity even so it is well, but if ye conceal them, and make them reach those (really) in need that is best for you: it will remove from you some of your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do. QS.2: 271.

10 Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of voiding suspicion.

O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting)[] . And fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful. Q. 49;(12)

11. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of Patience

I you show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient. (126) And do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from Allah; nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots. (127) For Allah is with those who restrain themselves and those who do good. QS 16:128.

12. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of not impose people but consult gently.

And by the Mercy of Allâh, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh¬hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allâh's) Forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allâh, certainly, Allâh loves those who put their trust (in Him). Q.3:(159)

13. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of how to retaliation / revenge

Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance their Lord; establish regular prayers; spend out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (Eternal) Home.,QS 13;22) ---- Repel evil with that which is best.QS 23:96

And those who, when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them, (are not cowed but) help and defend themselves. (39) The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due, from Allah: for (Allah) loveth not those who do wrong.QS .42:39-40.

When a (courteous) greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, (at least) of equal courtesy. Allah takes careful account of all things.QS.4;86.

14. Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion of

Grievously odious is it in the sight of Allah that you say that which you do not.QS. 61;3.

HOW TO DEAL / BEHAVE WITH JEWS AND CHRISTIAN ?

The extremist Muslim hate and behave hostility toward Jews and Christians,refer to Q.5:51,  but Prophet Muhammad saw treat Jews and Christian justly and lovely.

Perhaps Allâh will make friendship between you and those whom you hold as enemies. And Allâh has power (over all things), and Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (7) Allâh does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with equity. Q 60:7-8.

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh as just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others( jews and Christian )  make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do. Q.5:8.

It means that Muslim are allowed to elect a non Muslim to be leader or President etc. No discrimination in Islam. But the extremist Muslim reject to elect a non Muslim to be leader or president. Refer to Q.5:51. Etc.

It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allâh forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers those who disobey Allâh). Q.60:9.

HOW TO DEAL WITH MUSLIM WHO CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY

If anyone rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).QS.5:5.

HOW TO DEAL WITH MUSLIM WHO DIVIDE ISLAM OR MUSLIM?

As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did. Q.6:(159)

Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth, best who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. Q.16;(125)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW WAS A HUMAN JUST LIKE US.

Prophet Muhammad saw was a champion to follow God’s laws as well possible. But as a human being, he could make some mistake. Most Islamic clerics think that Prophet Muhammad saw was guided by God, so he never made a mistake.

Progressive Muslim has found that that idea is wrong. God did not guide prophet all the time, so Prophet made some mistake as following.

Say thou: "I am but a man like you: it is revealed to me by inspiration, that your God is One God: so stand true to Him, and ask for His Forgiveness." And woe to those who join gods with Allah, Q.41:6.

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a man like you. It has been revealed to me that your Ilâh (God) is One Ilâh (God — i.e. Allâh). So whoever hopes for the Meeting[] with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord." Q.18:110.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW DID NOT KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TOMORROW, WHEN HE DIES AND WHERE HE DIES.

Say: "I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as Allah willeth. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I should have multiplied all good, and no evil should have touched me: I am but a warner, and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith."QS 7:188.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO ADD A VERSE TO HOLY QURAN.

(This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. (43) And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, (44) We should certainly seize him by his right hand, (45) And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: (46) Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath).QS.69:40-47.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW MADE SOME MISTAKES.

A proof that Prophet Muhammad saw made a mistake, bad behavior. Then Allah admonish him. Don’t do it anymore !

(The Prophet (SAW)) frowned and turned away, (1) Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullâh bin Umm-Maktûm, who came to the Prophet (SAW) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs) (2) And how can you know that he might become pure (from sins)? (3) Or that he might receive admonition, and that the admonition might profit him? (4) As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient, (5) To him you attend; (6) What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allâh) (7) But as to him who came to you running (8) And is afraid (of Allâh and His Punishment), (9) Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, (10) Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (this Qur'ân) is an admonition, (11) So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it.

Q. 80;1-12.

A proof that Prophet Muhammad saw was a defeated by his enemy. It means that Allah did not protect him all the time.

What ye suffered on the day the two armies met, was with the leave of Allah, in order that He might test the Believers. "It is from yourselves: for Allah hath power over all things." Q.3:165-166.

Muslim do not need to follow Prophet Muhammad saw who had many wives ( 9 ) and slaves. This tradition fit / relevant at ancient time, not fit / relevant in Modern time any more.

O prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makkah) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her― this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess in order that there should be no difficulty for Thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful  QS 33:50.---- ISIS still follow this verses in Iraq, Syria,

UNFORTUNATELY THE EXTREMIST MUSLIM (ISIS, TALIBAN ETC ) STILL FOLLOW THE SLAVE LAW AND ALL ANCIENT ISLAMIC LAWS.
That is why we see Islam is not beautiful religion, but cruel and barbaric Islam.

Keep your hands busy with works; keep your mouth busy with remembrance of Allah and leave inheritance as much as possible.

“Our Lord, give us Paradise in this world and Paradise in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of Fire.” QS 2: (201)

May Allah guide Muslim scholars to the right path of Islam and dare to correct the wrong teaching of Islam.
