THE PROGRESSIVE MUSLIM

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشۡرَحۡ لِى صَدۡرِى (٢٥) وَيَسِّرۡ لِىٓ أَمۡرِى (٢٦) وَٱحۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَةً۬ مِّن لِّسَانِى (٢٧) يَفۡقَهُواْ قَوۡلِى

(Moses) said: "O my Lord! Expand me my breast;" (25) "Ease my task for me; (26) "And remove the impediment from my speech. (27) "So they may understand what I say:Q.20:20-28.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

الٓر‌ۚ ڪِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ لِتُخۡرِجَ ٱلنَّاس مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٲطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ (١)ٱ

Alif Lam Ra. A Book which We have revealed unto thee in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light― by the leave of their Lord― to the Way of (Him) Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise! Q.14:1.

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً۬ وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً۬ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ (٢٠١)

And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world( Heaven)  and good in the Hereafter (Heaven) and save us from the torment of the fire!" Q.2:201.

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَڪَانُواْ يَتَّقُونَ (٦٣) لَهُمُ ٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ فِى ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ‌ۚ لَا تَبۡدِيلَ لِڪَلِمَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ ذَٲلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ (٦٤)

Those who have believed and obey all Allah's laws. (63) For them there is the good news in the worldly life (Heaven) and in the Hereafter (Heaven): there is no change in the words of Allah.That is the great achievement. Q. 10;63-64

Can we change God’s law or Syariah laws. God say, Yes.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِہِمۡ‌ۗ

Allah will not Change the Condition if You do not Change it by Yourself. Q.13;11.

We have to be Honest that the interpretation of Islam for centuries by The extremist Clerics ( Wahhabi and Syah ) has caused conflict, warfare, poverty, and the immense suffering of Muslim in Islamic countries from Asia to Middle East.

So Progressive Muslim have to change and reform the extremist Clerics interpretation of Islam to the Modern interpretation in 21th Century. Islam can be a religion of peace, harmony, mercy and beautiful again.

Shariah law at 15 Centuries ago should be updated / Reformed.

Mr. Erdogan, President Turkey say;

"Islam is needed an update and accordingly updated. You can't apply the practices applied 15 centuries ago today. Islam changes and adapts to the condition of different ages. This is the beauty of Islam".

Islam is a Religion of Progressive.

And keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers. QS. 51;55

ADVICE TO YOUNG MEN & GIRLS.

THE CONCEPT OF PARADISE IN ISLAM.

God has explained some  verses in Al Quran as following;

This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the Righteous, is a beautiful place of (final) Return)― Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them;  Therein will they recline (at ease); therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance and (delicious) drink; And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age.  Such is the promise made to you for the Day of Account!  Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail. Q. 38;49-54

( LIVE IN WEALTH AND LUXURY & HAPPINESS. )

PARADISE ON EARTH.

Wise(pious) People live in wealth and luxury, but stupid people live in poverty. Those who love GOD inherit wealth and those who fear GOD prolong his life.Proverb 21;20.

( LIVE IN WEALTH AND LUXURY AND HAPPINESS )

THE BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT IS TO GET TWO PARADISES.

And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world (Paradise ) and good in the Hereafter(paradise) and defend us from the torment of the Fire!"QS 2;201.

Those who have believed and obey all Allah's laws. (63) For them there is the good news in the worldly life (Heavent) and in the Hereafter Heavent: there is no change in the words of Allah.That is the great achievement. QS 10;63-64.

Everyone has to pursue the good life, happiness, and prosperity on earth, not only for himself, but for the next generation, and society. In order to be successful, every one has to work hard and sweat. On the other word, Islamic teaching encourage people to live in wealth or prosperity.

Those who seek a good life in this world and ignore a good life in Hereafter, he/she is a loser, like the life of Fir’aun (Pharoh). He was a King and the richest in the world,  because he did not believe in God, he will cast to Hell in Hereafter.

The Extremist Wahhabi (ISIS, Taliban etc) ignore/ neglect to promote and to strength economy, they concentrate the life of Hereafter.

God say: You fool!

You fool, Do you want to be shown that faith without works is dead or useless.James 2:20,

They spend most their time to seek God by praying many times at mosque, but they neglect or ignore to worldly activity, or to strengthen their economy and create  jobs for community. In order people can live in wealth or prosperity. That is why we see most extremist Muslim live in poverty. Very sad.

Those who seek a good life in Hereafter, but ignore a good life in this world, he is deceived by Satan.  In order to get a good life in Hereafter, he should get first a good life in this world.

And surely, We gave you authority on the earth and appointed for you therein provisions (for your life). Little thanks do you give. (It means that few people enter God’s Heaven or Paradise.) Q. 7;10.

These kind of verses should be thought to next generation, grandchildren at home and schools.

May all of you will be inspired by the wisdom of Almighty Allah, ameen.

God say: You are fool!

You fool, Do you want to be shown that faith without works is dead or useless.

James 2:20.

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً۬ وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً۬ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ (٢٠١)

I keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers. Quran.. 51;55

Alif, Lam, Ra. 1 This is a book We have sent down to you, so that you may deliver the people, with the will of their Lord, out of all sorts of darkness into the light, leading them to the path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy (1). Quran.14;1.

ADVICE TO YOUNG MEN & GIRLS.

You may be sure that wisdom is good for your soul.Get wisdom and you have a bright future.Wisdom is offers you long life as well as wealth and honor. Wisdom can make your life pleasant and lead you safely through it

ISLAM IS RELIGION OF PROSPERITY

Muslim do not forget the worldly pleasure  or worldly paradise. Islamic teaching encourage people to live in wealth , luxury, or prosperity.

Do not forget your paradise on earth.!

QS 28;77.But seek, with that (wealth) which Allâh has bestowed on you, the home of the Hereafter, and do not forget  your portion of lawful enjoyment (like ;treasure many of the types of gold, silver, selected horses, cattle and vast rice fields again fertile, beautiful home. ), (wealth etc.) in this world, and do good as Allâh has been good to you.

What is the worldly pleasures?

QS.3: 14. Used as beautiful on the [view] human love of what is desired, namely: women, children, treasure many of the types of gold, silver, selected horses, cattle and vast rice fields again fertile, beautiful home. That's the fun of living in the world and in Him are the best place to be.  

This golden rule is found in Kristen and Yudaism;

Proverb 21;20.Wise People live in wealth and luxury,but stupid people live in Poverty.

GOD HAS PROVIDED THE WEALTH

God has provided a wealth of in the earth and in the sea in abundance, for a man who in creating it. Only a few people who enjoy it.

1.(QS.45:12). Allah, it is He Who has subjected to you the sea, that ship may sail through it by His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, and that you may be thankful .

2.QS 16:14. He is the One who has subjugated the sea, so that you may eat fresh meat from it, and may take out from it ornaments you wear, and you see the boats cleaving through it, and so that you may seek His bounty, 4 and that you may be grateful.

3. QS 57;25.We have indeed sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and sent down with them the Book and the Balance, so that people may uphold equity. And We sent down ( iron,silver, Gold, Oil, Gas etc ) in which there is strong power, and benefits for the people; 10 and (We did it) so that Allah knows the one who helps Him and His messengers without seeing (Him). Surely Allah is Strong, Mighty.

5. QS 71:11-13. And He will cause the heavens to rain upon you in abundance,  And will help you with riches and sons, and will cause gardens to grow for you, and cause rivers to flow for you.  What has happened to you that you do not appreciate the Majesty of Allah.

6. QS 72:16. And it is also revealed to me) that if they (the people of Makkah) had stood firm on the (right) way, We would have supplied water to them in abundance,

7.QS 71;10-20.)`Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving; "`He will send rain to you in abundance; "`Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you Gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water). "`What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in Allah― "`Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages? "`See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, "`And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp? "`And Allah has produced you from the earth, growing (gradually), "`And in the End He will return you into the (earth), and raise you forth (again at the Resurrection)? "`And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out) "`That ye may go about therein in spacious roads."

QS 7;10.And surely, We gave you authority on the earth and appointed for you therein provisions (for your life). Little thanks do you give.

GOOD MAN.

A good man those who does good deeds and also he can inherit their deeds to his 

children's children and to people around the world.

As prophet Muhammad (saw) said;

When a man dies, will was ultimately good deeds, except 3 things;

1. left a legacy of works that is beneficial to children, grandchildren and the community,

2. left a legacy of useful science book,

3. left the kid who always pray for his parents.

Narrated by Muslim.

This golden rule is found also in Christianity and Judaism or in Bible.

A GOOD MAN.

Prov.15:5. A good man leave inheritance to his children’s children.

Proverb 21;20.Wise People live in wealth and luxury,but stupid people spend money as fast as they get it.

IN ORDER TO GET'S WEALTH HAS TO OBEY GOD'S LAWS

Deuteronomy 28.If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

.Joshuo;1:8-9."Be sure that the book of law is always read in your worship.Study it day and night,and make sure that you obey everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful

HUMAN HAS TO WORK HARD, DO NOT BE LAZY

Prov.12: 24. Hard work will give you power, but like lazy will make you a slave.

Genesis 3.18-19. God said; “You will have to work hard and sweat to make the soil produce anything, until you go back to the soil from which you were formed. You were made from the soil, and you will become soil again”

Thesaa; 3:6.GOD hates people who are lazy to work, they do not deserve food.

Proverb 21:21. Be kind and honest and you will live a long life; other will respect you and treat you fairly.

Proverb 15;14 Intelligent people want to learn,but stupid people are satisfied with ignorance.

Proverb. 14 ;8 Why is a clever person wise? Because he know what to do. why a stupid person foolish? Because he only thinks he knows.

Proverb 15;14 .Wise man want to learn as much as possible,but stupid people are satisfied with ignorance.

Prov.12: 24. Hard work will give you power, but like lazy will make you a slave. Being lazy make you poor, but hard work will make you rich.

A GOOD MAN.

Prov.15:5. A good man leave inheritance to his children’s children.  

MY CONCLUSION

Everyone has to pursue the good life, happiness and prosperity, not only for himself, but for the next generation, and society. In order to be successful everyone has to work hard and sweat. On the other word,Islamic teaching encourage people to live in wealth or prosperity.

These are the messages we must give the next generation.(our children and grandchildren) at home and schools.

Unfortunately, extremist Muslim or extremist countries ignore these massages of Allah, they follow Evil - extremist leaders ( idols) to create conflict, violence and cause POVERTY in this world. They follow some of Allah's laws and ignore the rest of Allah's laws. They are actually hypocrisy and dangerous for humanity. Allah will disgrace in present life and on the Day of Judgement, they shall be be turned to the most severe punishment. QS 2;85.

“Our Lord, give us Paradise in this world and Paradise  in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of Fire.” QS 2:(201)

May Allah guide us all to the right path, amen.
