ISLAM IS RELIGION OF FLEXIBILITY.
Many verses in Al Quran describe that Islam is a religion of flexibility, as below;
Allah does not obligate anyone beyond his capacity..Q.2;286
1. ALCOHOL. They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: say, "In them there is a gross sin, and some benefits for the people. But their sinfulness far outweighs their benefit." They also ask you what to give to charity: say, "The excess." GOD thus clarifies the revelations for you, that you may reflect. QS 2;219. So Muslim can drink alcohol a little bit, as long as not mush.
2.MEAT OF PORK. He only prohibits for you the eating of animals that die of themselves (without human interference), blood, the meat of pigs, and animals dedicated to other than GOD. If one is forced (to eat these), without being malicious or deliberate, he incurs no sin. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. [QS.2:173] [QS.5:3] QS. (5:90-91) It is clear that Alcohol and meat of Pork are not poison. It is very clear that Muslim can eat the meat of pork and drink alcohol a little bit, but not much. If you drink alcohol too much can made your dizzy and headache. If you eat the meat of pork too much, you will consume too much bad fat, it is unlawful, (haram).
3. FASTING; Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an as a guide to mankind also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong). So everyone of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if anyone is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you He does not want to put you to difficulties.Q 2;185.
4. PRAYING; O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub, therewith your faces and hands. Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete His favour to you, that ye may be grateful. Q.5;(6).
5. NO COMPULSION IN FAITH; And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline): He has chosen you and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector― the― Best to protect and the Best to help! Q.22;78.
6. There is no compulsion in Faith. The correct way has become distinct from the erroneous. Now, whoever rejects the Taghut (the Rebel, the Satan) and believes in Allah has a firm grasp on the strongest ring that never breaks. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.QS 2:256.
7.YOUR DUTY IN ISLAM; So keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him as much as you can; listen and obey; and spend in charity, that is better for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, then they are the successful ones.
Q. 64:16.
It is very clear that Islamic laws made a beautiful, lovely religion, and blessing for all mankind. Christian laws is also flexibility as below;

He who is filthy, let him be filthy still

Unfortunately, many extremist Clerics in Islamic country impose Syariah law to their people and make a primitive, compulsive image of Islam.
Their hate / harsh attitude toward Christian, Jews etc.
These extremist / bigoted clerics forbid Muslims eat at non Islamic restaurant, forbid non Muslim work at Islamic Bank, or ban non Islamic Bank, forbid non Muslim work at foods manufacturing process, driver, etc. Forbid Muslim to celebrate Christmas day. Forbid Christian to build a Church etc.
Government forbid women to sit side by side and shake hand with a man, forbid women sing a song at TV, public place. Government or Clerics impose on women to cover their hair, hands and feet in public place ( wear burqa). Impose on men to have a long beard, urge a male to do polygamy. Saudi and Iran impose Non Muslim women to wear Hijab when she visit Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Extremist Islamic government (Syariah system) impose the ancient punishment in front of public such as; beheading, cut off hand, flogging etc as we see in Saudi Arabia, ISIS, and Taliban. Extremist Muslim reject the system of democracy, etc, etc.
MY CONCLUSION;
Extremist Muslim around the world actually do not obey Syariah Law rightly, because they impose Syariah Law to its people, whereas Allah Almighty against compulsion. So, Extremist Clerics has imposed difficulties on Muslims in Islamic religion.

Definition of lawful ( Halal) and unlawful (Haram ) as Allah and Prophet Muhammad (saw) said in Holy Quran; Allows them as lawful what is good and prohibits them from what is bad. QS 7;157. ( It is very logical religion.)
He has chosen you and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion of Islam. Quran. 22;78. (Only your extremist clerics impose difficulties on you in religion of Islam.)
And such are the Parables We set forth for mankind, but only those understand them who have Knowledge. QS 29; (43). (Clerics lack of knowledge of about health, Science and technology.)
Therefore, we, Muslim really need to change the old interpretation to the Modern interpretation on 21 st. Century.
Muslim should also make great progress and produce super works of science, culture, art and aesthetics, as well as Islam in the best way, and thus represent to the world.

The second wrong is that extremist Muslim still implement the ancient Islamic laws such as; beheading, amputation, flogging, and crucifixion and executing at front of public. They believe that Islamic laws can not be changed forever. That is why we can see the harsh Islamic behavior, not suit with Modern life.

The ancient Arab tradition, women are as second class in Arab society still be upheld by Arab people from one generation to the next generation. They feel proud of their tradition.
Those who does not follow the ancient Arab tradition, are accused infidel, or insulted his tradition.
So, Extremist Muslim ISIS, Jihadith, Taliban etc are Hypocrisy. They follow some of Allah’s laws, and refuse the rest and they follow their idols. Allah has warned these hypocrisy as following;
You believe in part of the Scripture, and disbelieve in part? What is the reward for those among you who do that but humiliation in this life? And on the Day of Resurrection, they will be assigned to the most severe torment. God is not unaware of what you do.Q.2;85.
We can see now how bad their life are. Allah disgrace their life in this world and will be put to the most severe torment Hereafter.

Please do not follow Extremist Clerics, he will deceive you and bring on you disaster and misery of life.
Please do not place your fath or trust on Islamic clerics because they can deceive you. Trust on Allah alone or Al Quran alone
Please be careful with Hadith. There are many false hadith.

Hurricane season in the USA does not end until November 30, but four major hurricanes — category three or greater — have already churned through the Atlantic, at the time of this writing in 2017. The meteorologists say more are likely on the way. Which hurricane seasons caused the most damage in the USA? Hurricanes Harvey and Irma are expected to cost the U.S. between $150 and $200 billion in combined property damage, according to Moody’s Analytics.1 The higher figure would make this season the second costliest to date, just behind 2005, when Hurricanes Katrina, Dennis, and Cindy left behind $211 billion in damage, according to the National Hurricane Center.(2)
Are these punishments of God to the USA for racism within its borders and aggressive foreign policy outside its borders? Or are these merely a result of climate change without any hidden message or strategy?
Some of us are focused on the question of suffering and worry how a Loving God could allow natural disasters that lead to the death of innocent humans including young children?
Others focus on the other side of the coin and question how a Loving God could allow repressive regimes to survive, who cause thousands if not millions of innocent people to die and suffer from air raids and other military interventions and dirty politics to serve their parochial agenda?
Allah had taken to task nations of the prophets like Noah, Moses, Lot, Shuaib and Salih (May peace be on them all) for denying and ridiculing the messengers of God and destroyed and annihilated them. The Qur’an is replete with mention of how God destroyed prior nations for their corruption through natural disasters.
To the people of Midian, We sent their brother Shu’ayb. He said, ‘My people, serve God and think ahead to the Last Day. Do not commit evil and spread corruption in the land.’ They rejected him, and so the earthquake overtook them. When morning came, they were lying dead in their homes. Remember the tribes of ‘Ad and Thamud: their history is made clear to you by what is left of their dwelling places. Satan made their foul deeds seem alluring to them and barred them from the right way, though they were capable of seeing. Remember Qarun and Pharaoh and Haman: Moses brought them clear signs, but they behaved arrogantly on earth. They could not escape Us, and We punished each one of them for their sins: some We struck with a violent storm; some were overcome by a sudden blast; some We made the earth swallow, and some We drowned. It was not God who wronged them; they wronged themselves.(3)
Why is not God destroying the Western civilization for not believing in Islam or the holy prophet Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? Was he not meant for Europe and USA also?
The natural disasters, these days, seem to be less destructive at least as far as fatalities are concerned, at least in the Western countries than in the past. To date, the deadliest natural disaster in U.S. history is also a hurricane. In 1900, inaccurate predictions, combined with poor warning systems, left Galveston, Texas vulnerable to a hurricane that killed between 6,000 and 12,000 people. Twenty-eight years later, an estimated 2,500 people drowned when a Category 4 hurricane caused Lake Okeechobee in Florida to overflow, deluging the surrounding area with 10-to-15-foot floods. 4 The hurricanes in 2017 in the USA have caused much less loss of life. Perhaps human planning and efforts help and point towards our free will.
So, is God still active in human history as He was in the past eras as mentioned in the Holy Qur’an?
The prophet Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came for the whole world and even after 1,400 years more than 4 billion of different faiths appear to be prospering, even though all of them deny him and some among them even ridicule him and his religion. Islamophobia is on the rise, and the Muslims are on the receiving end rather than the non-Muslims. Is there a God, Who promised the victory of Islam?
Hundreds of thousands if not millions of innocent Iraqis and Syrians, both Muslims and non-Muslims, have died due to the bombing, by one entity or the other after the USA and European allies invaded Iraq under the pretense of weapons of mass destruction. Is there a God, Who will help and save the Muslims?
In World Wars I and II millions died in Europe, but at the end of these wars, USA, with more than 95% of its population Christian, came on the top and not any Muslim nation! Ottoman Empire was destroyed, and the British Empire got to draw the maps in the Middle East along with the creation of Israel, for the European Jewish population. Is the God of Islam alive?
In 1492 in the year when Christopher Columbus allegedly discovered America, while people were already living here, every Muslim in Europe was either killed, banished or converted by force to Christianity. 5 6 7 Where was the God of the Muslims?
But remember, there were hardly any Muslims in Europe or America in the 18th or the 19th century. Now there are some 44 million Muslims in Europe according to the Pew Research Center estimates,(8) and they estimate that there were about 3.3 million Muslims of all ages living in the United States in 2015.(9)
The world is changing in favor of Islam, ever so gradually, even though it is not immediately apparent!
Notwithstanding several vulnerabilities of the Western civilization, the West has certainly been the creator of the industrial and the information age, and it will be a great human loss if the West were to implode like the Roman Empire in the fourth and the fifth centuries. Here we are not only reassured by the human efforts in the broad spread of science and technology in our global village but by the very word of God; the Holy Qur’an promises that whatever is useful for humanity is given permanence in the world. The same God, who revealed the above verses about the destruction of the people of Median, ‘Ad and Thamud, Pharaoh and other deniers of the prophets of God also revealed:
He sends down water from the sky so that valleys flow according to their measure, and the flood bears on its surface swelling foam. And from that which they heat in the fire, seeking to make ornaments or utensils, comes out a foam similar to it. Thus does Allah illustrate truth and falsehood. Now, as to the foam, it goes away as rubbish, but as to that which benefits men, it stays on the earth. Thus does Allah set forth parables.(10)
Whatever is frivolous in the Western civilization will fade away over time, but the useful and essential will be preserved as the sun of Islamic teachings will rise from the West, in the 21st and the 22nd century.
If we emphasize the literal reading of one set of verses or the other, we may get a limited understanding of the message given in the Qur’an, on the other hand meditating on all the verses impinging on the issue under discussion in unison leads to an enlightened world-view.
One of the attributes of God is Al-Lateef or the Subtle. God created human beings through the process of evolution spread over some 3.5 billion years, and His plan to improve our humanity and our theology is not rushed, it is ever so subtle and gradual.
The hurricanes Harvey and Irma and others serve different purposes on different axes. These are reminders of global warming on the one hand but also have a purpose on the spiritual axis. They are there to humble us to remind us of our utter dependence on the Almighty Allah, and in the larger scheme of affairs, they will gradually move humanity to a better understanding of religion and theology, more consistent with Islam than Christianity, and human compassion and coexistence. The Qur’an says to the Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):
We did indeed send Messengers before thee, and We made for them wives and children. It is not possible for a Messenger to bring a Sign except by the command of Allah. For every design, there is an appointed term. Allah effaces what He wills and establishes what He wills; with Him is the source of all commandments. Whether We bring to pass during thy lifetime some of that which We have designed for them, or whether We cause thee to die, it will all be fulfilled. Thy part is to convey the Message; it is for Us to make the reckoning. Do they not see that We are approaching from the borders of the land, reducing it as We proceed? Allah judges; no one has the power to reverse His judgment.
He is Swift in the reckoning. Those who were before them also devised plans, but they came to naught. All planning belongs to Allah. He knows what everyone does. The disbelievers will soon know to whom belongs the true recompense of the ultimate resort. Those who disbelieve say: ‘Thou art not a Messenger of Allah. Say to them: Sufficient is Allah as a Witness between you and me, and so also is he who possesses knowledge of the Book.’(11)
If we look at the back side of a carpet or any tapestry, we see knots and a mumble jumble of threads going across and no pattern or beauty is apparent. Human life is very similar to this tapestry, our small triumphs, sufferings, the natural disasters, and the world affairs seem, as we look at them without the benefit of omniscience or long-term view of history, only a mumble jumble of events. But, turn the carpet and tapestry around, and you see a beautiful pattern. The two sides of the carpet are the best metaphor to understand God’s plan for humanity. Two threads are used to weave a carpet, one of them is the human effort and free will, and the other is the Providence and sometimes the punishment of God through natural disasters. The pattern is not visible immediately to the untrained human eye, which is always looking at the rough side of the carpet, on our daily timescale. But to those gifted with wisdom and understanding of history, the finished side of the tapestry or the carpet is very visible, and they are all the more thankful to God, for their world-view.
God is achieving His purpose and His design for the humanity, just like a beautifully woven tapestry or a carpet. He is leading us to a better theology, even accepting the contributions by atheists, and a better coexistence and a better understanding of human compassion, human rights, and women rights. In centuries to come, as we keep progressing, some will call it a victory of Islam over other religions and others will call it just a better and a more rational world.
Allah sent Islam or prophet Muhammad(saw) lead Arab people out of the depth of darkness into light by the their Lord's leave. Q.14;1.
Arab Nation at the Dark Ages
Based on al Quran the Arabs were a nation that often had conflicts, hostility, kidnappings and civil-wars caused by different ethnicities and religious beliefs. They killed their children foolishly, due to their lack of knowledge
QS 6;140. A man could marry women more than four QS.4:3,
many women became slaves, and can be traded etc. QS.24:33
They were at the brink of a pit of Fire.QS 3;103.
Imagine how Arab people made a house? They made house from skin of animal, It was not real house but just a tent, moveable, QS.16;80-81.
They moved from one place to another place. During Muhammad’s (pbuh) time there was no police to guard people, there were no hospitals to go to when people got sick, also there was no hospitals for animals, no telephones, buses and electricity. It was very difficult to find water for bathing and washing dirty clothes. They lived in desert. When strong winds come up in the desert, the hot sand can damage human skin and eyes.
Therefore Allah and the Prophet Muhammad asked women to cover their entire body with a cloth. Women are forbidden to go outside without accompanied by her brother or husband.
So Burqa, Hijab, Veil is not the code of Islamic dress, but the Arab traditional dress who live in desert at ancient time.
How to follow Allah and Sunnah or the life of Muhammad saw) professionally as a role model for Muslim in this 21st Century?
The Prophet Muhammad was a perfect man in the context of his time, We do not need to follow his actions in a literal sense, but, only in the context of our time.
If Muslims still follow the ancient Islamic law as above, do you think Muslim can pursue their dream? No!
Can Muslim man and woman make great progress and produce super works of science, culture, art and aesthetics, as well as Islam in the best way, and thus represent to the world.

They insult, and discriminate against Gay and Lesbian community. Even Extremist Muslim Clerics punish and kill them, in Muslim countries. Why?
They said according his old interpretation of God’s revelation that God condemn the act of Homosexuality, and Marriage only between a man and a woman. Also extremist Muslim believe in Ancient Arab tradition hadits like this one;
Word of the Prophet, "If you have people who do act like the people of Lut (liwath) then kill the perpetrators." (Narrated by Abu Daud, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)
This is ancient Arab tradition is not applicable anymore, because Allah already changed His laws in Bible and Al Quran. So this Hadits should be abolished from the book of Hadits.
Modern interpretation; Based on al Quran, Allah condemn all kind of sins, from a small sins to the biggest sins. The biggest sin is not the act of homosexuality, but those who worship beside God alone (Musyik). Allah never asked His prophets to ban and to punish those who makes sins, Allah asked His prophets to punish those who make crime. We all are sinner,including the scholars who know religion and including the rulers. No one is allowed to judge and to punish anybody for his sins. If anybody punish anyone who made sins, it will be a war or conflict . Allah does not want His people kill one another. Allah wants all His people live in peace and harmony.
There are so many gay-Lesbian who successful and prosperity. Some of them have good job and good position in Government as well as private company.

He who is unjust, let him unjust still.
He who is filthy, let him be filthy still
He who is righteous, let him be righteous still.
He who is holy,let him be holy still.(Rev;22:11).
So it is very clear that Allah give the freedom to His people to choose his lifestyle, and Allah do not ask the authority to punish those who make sins or do Homosexuality.
From Al Quran.
There is no compulsion in God’s religion.QS 2;256.
And showed him the two ways? QS 90;10.( God's way, and evil's way.)
And say, “The truth is from your Lord. Now, whoever so wills may believe and whoever so wills may deny.” QS 18;29.
Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his ownself. And whoever goes astray, then he goes astray to his own loss. No one laden with burdens can bear another's burden.QS 17;15
And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad SAW) then compel mankind, until they become believers. QS 10;99
”your(Muhammad(saw) duty is only to convey (the Message) and on Us is the reckoning”. QS 13:40.
So based on God’s laws above, that God have given people the freedom to choose his own way of life. No one can force anybody to obey God’s law, even Government has no right to punish those who make sins, as we are all sinner.
God create people and provide the law for people. Only God has the right to judge, punish His People. All people are equal before God.
We have to distinguish between sinful act and criminal act.
Sexuality between man and man or woman and woman is not criminal act. They do based on love each other. Therefore, government has no right to punish them.
What is done by extremist clerics of various religions insulting and punishing the gay and lesbian is wrong act, evil act and misleading.
President Obama with his power, help to gain the right of the oppressed Gay-Lesbian community in America as well as Mathin Luther King who gained the right of the oppressed the black America in 1960.
