Homosexuality is not a criminal act,
but a sinful act.
ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ (١)
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (٢) ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ (٣) مَـٰلِكِ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ (٤) إِيَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِينُ (٥) ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٲطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ (٦) صِرَٲطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ (٧
وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً۬ وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً۬ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ (٢٠١)

.Alif, Lam, Ra. 1 This is a book We have sent down to you, so that you may deliver the people, with the will of their Lord, out of all sorts of darkness into the light, leading them to the path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy (1). Quran.14;1.
Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves . QS .13:11.
And such are the Parables We set forth for mankind, but only those understand them who have Knowledge. QS 29; (43)

Old interpretation; Often we hear from Media that the Orthodox Extremist clerics from Jews, Christian and Muslim discriminate against Homosexual, gay-lesbian marriage and adopt children. They insult and judge Gay and Lesbian community. Even Extremist Muslim Clerics punish and kill them, in Muslim countries. Why?
They said according his old interpretation of God’s revelation that God condemn the act of Homosexuality, and Marriage only between a man and a woman. Also extremist Muslim believe in Ancient Arab tradition hadith like this one;
‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.‘Leviticus 20:13.

Word of the Prophet, "If you have people who do act like the people of Lut (liwath) then kill the perpetrators." (Narrated by Abu Daud, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)
This is ancient Arab tradition is not applicable anymore, because Allah never commanded to punish LGBT in Injil and Al Quran. So this Hadits should be abolished from the book of Hadith, because Imam Abu Daud deceived people. Ask yourself, do you know Imam Daud? Can we place our trust in him? Think about that!
Modern interpretation; Based on al Quran, Allah condemn all kind of sins, from a small sins to the biggest sins. The biggest sin is not the act of homosexuality, but those who worship beside God alone (Musyik). Allah never asked His prophets to ban and to punish those who makes sins, Allah asked His prophets to punish those who make crime. We all are sinner,including the scholars who know religion and including the rulers. No one is allowed to judge and to punish anybody for his sins. If anybody punish anyone who made sins, it will be a war or conflict . Allah does not want His people kill one another. Allah wants all His people live in peace and harmony.
There are so many gay-Lesbian who successful and prosperity. Some of them have good job and good position in Government as well as private company.
All people are sinner,
There is no one in this earth who does what is right all the time and never makes a mistake.Ecc.7:20
There is no compulsion and force in God’s religion.
Otherwise God said; love all people as God love you all.

Today I am giving you a choice between good and evil, or between a blessing and a curse, between life and death. (Deuteronomy 30; 1,15)
He who is unjust, let him unjust still.
He who is filthy, let him be filthy still
He who is righteous, let him be righteous still.
He who is holy,let him be holy still.(Rev;22:11).
So it is very clear that Allah give the freedom to His people to choose his lifestyle, and Allah do not ask the authority to punish those who make sins or do Homosexuality.
From Al Quran.
There is no compulsion in God’s religion.QS 2;256.
And showed him the two ways? QS 90;10.( God's way, and evil's way.)
And say, “The truth is from your Lord. Now, whoever so wills may believe and whoever so wills may deny.” QS 18;29.
Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his ownself. And whoever goes astray, then he goes astray to his own loss. No one laden with burdens can bear another's burden.QS 17;15
And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad SAW) then compel mankind, until they become believers. QS 10;99
”your(Muhammad(saw) duty is only to convey (the Message) and on Us is the reckoning”. QS 13:40.
So based on God’s laws above, that God have given people the freedom to choose his own way of life. No one can force anybody to obey God’s law, even Government has no right to punish those who make sins, as we are all sinner.
God create people and provide the law for people. Only God has the right to judge, punish His People. All people are equal before God.
We have to distinguish between sinful act and criminal act.
Sexuality between man and man or woman and woman is not criminal act. They do based on love each other. Therefore, government has no right to punish them.
What is done by extremist clerics of various religions insulting and punishing the gay and lesbian is wrong act, evil act and misleading.
President Obama with his power, help to gain the right of the oppressed Gay-Lesbian community in America as well as Mathin Luther King who gained the right of the oppressed the black America in 1960.
ALLAH commanded people NOT to judge and insult others.
Islam is religion of tolerance, mercy and peace.
Allah has warned His People in His Books,Bible and Al Quran as following below:
DO NOT JUDGE OTHER FAITH.
DO NOT JUDGE OTHER FAITH.
O you who believe, no man should ever scoff at other men. May be, the latter are better than the former. Nor should women (ever scoff) at other women. May be, the latter women are better than the former ones. And do not find fault with one another, nor call one another with bad nicknames. Bad is the name of sinfulness after embracing Faith. 4 If anyone does not repent, then such people are the wrongdoers.QS 49 11
DO NOT INSULT OTHER FAITH.
"And insult not those whom they worship besides God, lest they insult God wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do QS 6;108.
DO NOT INSULT OTHER FAITH.

These Golden rule is found also in Christianity and Judaism.
Warning against Judging a Christian Brother.
Do not criticize one another, my brothers. Whoever criticizes a Christian brother or judges him, criticizes the Law and judges it. If you judge the Law, then you no longer one who obeys the Law. But one who judges it. God is the only lawgiver and judge. He alone can and destroy. Who do you think you are to judge your fellow-man?
ROMAN 14:10
Why do judge your brother?
Why do you show contempt for your brother?
For we shall all stand before God’s judgment
There for let us not judge one another any more.
Each of us shall account of him self.Roman
1. Do not accuse anyone falsely (exodus.20;16).
2. All of us will stand before God to be judged by Him.(Roman 14:11)
3. James 4:12 God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor.
Surely, your Lord is best aware of those who go astray from His way, and He is best aware of those who are on the right path.QS 6;117
Most of Islamic scholars often judge and insult LGBT and others beliefs, They are in wrong side and deceive people. Allah will put them in Hell.
These are the messages we must give the next generation.(our children and grandchildren)
